Our standard brassards are manufactured from 100% cotton. For higher risk environments, we can produce brassards using FR cotton. fabric weight and construction can be adjusted depending on application.

A brassard is worn over the top of a uniform or work shirt to show a person's role on site, for example incident controller, fire warden or first aid officer. It gives clear identification without needing a second uniform or a permanent badge sewn on.
A brassard is the longer style, it goes over the shoulder or attaches at the top of the arm and wraps down. An armband is shorter and sits around the upper arm on its own. Both do the same job of role identification, the brassard just gives more surface area for text or logos.
It slips on over the sleeve of a shirt or jacket and is secured with touch tape or a buckle, depending on the style ordered. No pins or sewing needed, so the same brassard can be reused across shifts or handed to a different person on the day.
Yes. We print or embroider role text, organisation names or logos directly onto the brassard in house. Common examples are FIRE WARDEN, FIRST AID and INCIDENT CONTROLLER, but any wording can be produced to order.
