WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Follow these instructions to protect the reflective tape and flourescent
fabric across all 50 rated wash cycles.

POLYESTER SHELL GARMENTS

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Machine wash cold — maximum 30°C
  • Gentle or delicate cycle only
  • Use a mild liquid detergent — avoid powder detergents as residue dulls tape
  • Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, or fabric softener
  • Wash inside out to protect reflective tape seams
  • Wash separately from rough fabrics, zippers, or abrasive materials

COTTON SHELL GARMENTS

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Machine wash cold — maximum 30°C
  • Gentle or delicate cycle only
  • Use a mild liquid detergent — avoid powder detergents as residue dulls tape
  • Do not use bleach, optical brighteners, or fabric softener
  • Wash inside out to protect reflective tape seams
  • Wash separately from rough fabrics, zippers, or abrasive materials

Drying Instructions

  • Air dry only – hang on a coat hanger in the shade
  • Do not tumble dry — heat destroys reflective tape adhesion and degrades the retro-reflective layer
  • Do not dry in direct sunlight — UV fades fluorescent colour
  • Do not wring or twist the garment
  • Do not peg by the tape panels — hang from the shoulder seam

Ironing

  • Do not iron
  • Heat from an iron will melt, bubble, or delaminate reflective tape
  • If creasing is an issue, store on a hanger and allow to hang out naturally

Dry Cleaning

  • Do not dry clean
  • Dry cleaning solvents damage reflective tape and degrade the retro-reflective layer

Storage

  • Store clean and dry — never store damp
  • Hang on a coat hanger — do not fold along tape panels
  • Store away from direct sunlight and heat sources
  • Keep away from sharp objects that may scratch or snag reflective surfaces
